Avoid the Fees: EasyJet’s New Cabin Bag Rules Explained

If you’re flying EasyJet in 2025, here’s what you need to know about their cabin bag rules before you head to the airport.

With a standard ticket, you only get one small cabin bag – basically a backpack, handbag, or little duffel – and it has to fit under the seat in front of you. The official size limit is 45 x 36 x 20cm, wheels and handles included.

There’s also a 15kg weight limit, but the main rule is that you should be able to lift and carry it yourself. If your bag looks too big, staff might measure it at check-in or the gate, and if it doesn’t fit, you’ll end up paying extra.

So, in short: pack light, keep it compact, and you’ll avoid those surprise charges.
