Play on huge outdoor boards and watch “living chess” performances with actors representing the pieces—scheduled throughout the afternoon.

This Year’s Theme: The Wizard of Oz
Follow Dorothy down the yellow brick chessboard! Will the Lion stand strong? Will the Wizard move into check? This creative twist gives ChessFest a playful narrative through the day.
